Our Adult Tutoring Program offers 1:1 and small group tutoring for adults looking to improve their reading, writing, or math skills from the basics to the grade 9 level. Classes run in the communities of Halton in 12-15 week sessions from September to July. Part-time day and evening classes are available. Intake is continuous.
Our Computer Skills for Work program in Halton communities offers eight-week introductory courses covering essential skills such as Windows, Microsoft Word, file management, internet basics, business communications, and numeracy, with both daytime and evening classes available from September to July.
We offer the Academic and Career Entrance (ACE) Program in partnership with Sheridan College, providing grade 12 College level equivalency courses in English, Math, Biology, and Chemistry, taught by Sheridan College instructors, with part-time classes held in Milton and in Georgetown. Continuous intake available.
This program prepares learners for entry into healthcare support jobs and further education opportunities in related fields, offering valuable industry knowledge, essential skills development, tuition-free instructor-led classes over five weeks in Milton, and the opportunity to earn certificates in various healthcare-related areas.
Support for essential employability skills building and foundational career planning, catering to unemployed or underemployed adults seeking advancement or exploration in trades or other industries. Focusing on soft skills development, labor market exploration, and access to industry-recognized certificates and employment services.
